Innovative Raksha Bandhan Celebration by Priyadarshani School, Pune.
A promise to the trees that we will protect them forever.
A Pune based Priyadarshani Schools & Jr College came up with an innovative idea of celebrating Raksha Bandhan in a very unique way. This year the parents received an update from the school administration where they were asked to celebrate the Raksha Bandhan festival in a way where the girls will tie a rakhi to a small plant or a tree in their vicinity.
The little ones took the initiative in a positive way with a lot of energy and came up with homemade rakhis which they tied around their favourite plant or tree.
The initiative for the children was exciting but the school administration is giving away a strong message to the society to love and be a part of nature. Living in harmony with nature is what we can learn to do in the long run. The importance of nature is what we as a society are slowly forgetting and accepting the forgetfulness as a new normal but let's not do that.
The efforts by Priyadarshani Schools & Jr College on such activities & curriculum beyond the restricted syllabus is something which needs to be appreciated.
