Project IF — India’s first interactive film making project
A project that will take Indian film standards at per to any international film making community.
When two nomads interact they can create wonders.
Imagine a film where you can interact and decide the line of playback to your desired choice out of some given options. If you can remember Bandersnatch from the Netflix black mirror series. Yes, so these two gentlemen in the picture above are trying exactly on similar lines to create India’s first Bandersnatch. Though they are running short of logistics, they are determined to create something very close to that of Bandersnatch. The complexity is huge and so the Netflix is not trying anything similar once again. Making a non-linear programmed multilayered playback is not a child’s play. Even the scripting for an interactive film (aka IF) is quite complex. The entire story is in the form of a flowchart like a computer program flowchart diagram.
They have named it Project IF where IF stands for Interactive Film. The project is going to be a collaboration between a few self-taught individuals from different field of art and computer programming. Not much can be revealed at this stage of development but once they get into the real time RnD they shall come up with some small picture stories which will give you all an idea about the progress of the project. People who can see the depth and future of such advancement in the field of film making can join them as a volunteer, fundraiser or investor for Project IF.
